Gardening
For Wildlife
Eight Sarasota County
homes, in partnership with local environmental groups, will
be featured.
The tour highlights successful homescapes specially designed
to attract birds, butterflies and other wildlife. At this time
of year, as cooler weather approaches, these gardens will be
at their colorful best, with plants producing lots of berries.
In addition to the eight Sarasota homes, the tour includes demonstration
wildlife gardens at county and state parks, local garden clubs
and butterfly garden clubs, the Spanish Point Butterfly Garden,
the Florida House Learning Center, local native plant nurseries
and more.
